What this means for you
- A standard 29.5″ desk is about 7.5″ too high for you. Either choose a height-adjustable desk that goes down to 22″, or raise your chair to reach the desk and add a 7.5″ footrest.
- Look for a chair with a seat depth of 14.5″ or less, or one with an adjustable seat slider. Many chairs have 18–20″ deep seats, which press into the back of your knees.
- For a standing desk, make sure its height range covers both 22″ (sitting) and 35″ (standing).
